B-CC High School Seniors Officially Graduate

This past Wednesday, June 8th, Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School officially graduated the Class of 2022 at their annual graduation ceremony held at the Guckeyson Memorial Stadium.


At 9 in the morning, B-CC High School’s 2022 Graduation Ceremony started; families and friends of the class of 2022 were in attendance as seniors took their seats on the football field.


The ceremony comprised of stellar performances by the B-CC Orchestra, Jazz Band and Chamber Singers, and speeches by Principal Dr. Mooney, former Chevy-Chase mayor Cecily Baskir, ‘22 Class President Haroun Wadood, and commencements by the Class of 2022 Student Government.




Seniors received their diplomas and celebrated by classically throwing their caps into the air.


Ella Raymond describes the ceremony, saying, “It was great to see the seniors for the last time and to celebrate their new chapter in life.”
